Marvel Rules Additions

Aiming:

A hero can spend his turn Aiming instead of making any other Attack or Defensive actions. For every round a hero spends aiming, the target subtracts 4 from their Defensive action. A hero may not spend more than 3 turns aiming.

 

All-Out and Desperate Attacks:

A hero may choose to do an All-Out Attack instead of a normal Attack during his turn. When doing an All-Out Attack, the hero may not make any defensive actions that round what-so-ever. When All-Out Attacking, a hero may play 2 cards instead of one during their attack, all normal rules apply. Note that you may trump both cards and play edges as normal.

There may be some times when a hero needs to make an All-Out Attack to finish off an opponent, but he only has one card in his hand. Itís times like these when a hero may make a Desperate Attack. A Desperate Attack allows the hero to automatically trump, even if itís a Doom card. However, by making a Desperate Attack, the hero forfeits any Defensive Actions, exactly as if he had made an All-Out Attack.

 

All Out Defense:

A hero may choose to do an All-Out Defense instead of making a normal Defensive Action during his turn. When doing an All-Out Defense, the hero may not make any other actions that round what-so-ever. When making an All-Out Defense, a hero may play 2 cards instead of one, all normal rules apply. Note that you may trump both cards and play edges as normal.

 

Charging:

A hero may spend his turn Charging his opponent. When a hero does this, the impact is considered a contingent attack. He may add half of his flight or speed-related power to the attack. A hero may still perform a Martial Arts attack while charging (ex. a super-speed leaping kick). In addition, if the Hero has the Aerial Combat skill, he may choose to use either his Strength or Agility for the attack.

 

Multiple Attackers:

A hero may make a Defensive Action against more than one opponent per turn. However, for every opponent after the first, the hero receives a -1 to their Defensive Action.

 

Team Attacks:

A group of heroes can try a Team Attack against an opponent. To do a team attack, pick one hero to "Spearhead" the Attack. That hero plays a card and any Edges as normal. Then, each additional person involved in the Team Attack may also play a card. All cards played are added together with the Spearheading heroís Attack. Only the hero who Spearheaded the Attack may Trump. Note that Team Attacks may only be of one nature (i.e.. all Resisted by the same Stat).
